Fancy joining Jack’s Shack on an epic journey to the biggest VW show in the world?

Our destination will be Hessisch Oldendorf. Every four years this beautiful German village is taken over by VW enthusiasts from around the world. The show celebrates everything VW pre-1953 with thousands of Beetles and campervans arriving from all over the world. The Village becomes a min-festival for the weekend.

Whilst the event itself is a Mecca for VW enthusiasts and incredibly good fun, we plan to make the journey as entertaining as the destination, driving through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany and spending a day at the home of VW: Wolfsburg. We’ll take a tour of the factory and wander around the museum – trust us, it’s incredible.

The birth of Jacks Shack …

Four years ago, Jack headed to HO17 where he met Chris. Jack spent a week boring Chris with pictures of trucks, vans, cars, motorbikes and all the weird & wonderful things he’d built. Chris spent a week drunk. On the Saturday night, Jack watched Chris slut dropping on stage in his little pink shorts and from that moment, he knew they needed to work together.

After a few drunken chats and a couple more sober chats on their return, Jack’s Shack was born. We are now going to head back with the army of friends we have made during the last four years to celebrate all things Jack’s Shack but more importantly, all things Volkswagen.

If you want to join us on our pilgrimage get in touch asap. We will need to take a deposit of £50 per vehicle to guarantee a spot as we will be committing to campsites etc. However, this will be refunded if Covid19 raises its nasty head again!

We can’t wait for June 2021! We hope to see as many of you as possible.
